ENERGY REDISTRIBUTION FACTORS USED IN LARGE-BREAK LOSS OF COOLANT

ACCIDENT ANALYSES DO NOT DIRECTLY REFLECT THE EFFECTS OF         

MODERATOR VOIDING. SPECIFICALLY, THE ENERGY REDISTRIBUTION       

FACTORS ARE UNDER PREDICTED BY 0.5% TO 1.5%. THIS CORRESPONDS TO 

A 20�F TO 60�F INCREASE IN PEAK CLAD TEMPERATURE DURING          

LARGE-BREAK LOSS OF COOLANT ACCIDENTS.
