Due to a lapse in appropriations, the NRC has ceased normal operations. However, excepted and exempted activities necessary to maintain critical health and safety functions—as well as essential progress on designated critical activities, including those specified in Executive Order 14300—will continue, consistent with the OMB-Approved NRC Lapse Plan.

Enforcement Manual Change Notice - Number 1

Change Notice Number 1 was issued on September 11, 2000, and addressed the following issues in the order that they appear in the Enforcement Manual.

Changes made in Appendix B: Forms 1-I, 1- II, 1-III, 1-IV, and 2 were revised to provide that either a copy of the Enforcement Policy be sent to the licensee or that the OE web site address be included.

Forms 1-I and 2 were also revised to clarify the discussion of predecisional enforcement conferences.

Forms 1-I through 13, 24, 30-32, 36, 39, and 42 were revised to include standard language to address the availability of documents in electronic form through ADAMS as well as through the Public Document Room.
