Stacey Rosenberg
Ms. Stacey Rosenberg is the Chief of the PRA Licensing Branch C in the Division of Risk Assessment in the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (NRR) at the NRC. Ms. Rosenberg leads a work force that reviews risk-informed license amendment requests and supports wide variety of other PRA activities in NRC. She joined the NRC in 1991 as a Reactor Systems Engineer in NRR’s Probabilistic Risk Assessment Branch where she worked for 6 years primarily on risk assessment of operating events. She then worked in other NRC offices including the Office of Nuclear Material Safety and Safeguards, the Office of Nuclear Security and Incident Response, and the Office of Executive Director for Operations. Before her Branch Chief assignments in PRA Licensing, she served in NRR’s Division of Engineering as Chief of the Vessels and Internals Integrity Branch, and prior to that assignment she served as the Branch Chief in NRR’s Division of Policy and Rulemaking as the Chief of the Licensing Processes Branch. From 1999 – 2000, she served as a Legislative Assistant to United States Senator Bob Graham where she worked on clean air, energy and nuclear issues. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland and a Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University.
