John Segala
Mr. John P. Segala is the Chief of the Advanced Reactor Policy Branch in the Division of Advanced Reactors and Non-Power Production and Utilization Facilities in the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation at the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). John has served in a number of progressively more responsible positions at the NRC, including the Chief of the Containment and Ventilation Branch, Chief of the EPR Projects Branch, and Chief of the Balance of Plant Branch in both the Office of New Reactors and the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation. He has over 25 years of Federal service and was a graduate of NRC’s Leadership Potential Program in 2006. John received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland in 1990.
