Anna Bradford

Ms. Bradford joined the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) in 2000 as an environmental engineer in the Decommissioning Branch in the Office of Nuclear Material Safety and Safeguards (NMSS). Since joining the NRC, she has held positions of increasing responsibility including, Chief, Low-Level Waste Branch, NMSS; Deputy Chief of Staff in former Chairman Jaczko’s office; and Chief, Advanced Reactor and Policy Branch, NRO. Her other assignments have included Executive Technical Assistant in the Office of the Executive Director for Operations and Deputy Budget Director in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Bradford currently serves as Deputy Director in the Division of Licensing, Siting, and Environmental Analysis.

Before joining the NRC, Ms. Bradford was an environmental engineer for nuclear projects at the Science Applications International Corporation. She has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and a master's degree in environmental engineering from Johns Hopkins University. Ms. Bradford is also a graduate of the NRC Senior Executive Service Candidate Development Program.
