Lauren Lopez is the Supervisor of Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PRA) at Dominion Energy. Lauren joined Dominion Energy's Nuclear Engineering and Fuel Department in 2009, where she has worked in Fuel Procurement Engineering, Fuel Performance Analysis, Nuclear Safety Analysis, and Probabilistic Risk Assessment. In 2015, Lauren earned a Senior Reactor Operator Management Certification from Millstone Unit 2. As Supervisor of the PRA group, Lauren oversees the development of PRA models, application of those models to quantify nuclear accident risk and to satisfy applicable regulatory requirements, and implementation of strategies for cost-beneficial and risk-reducing design and operational changes for Dominion Energy nuclear reactors. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in System Engineering with a minor in Business from the University of Virginia, and in 2018 completed her MBA from Virginia Commonwealth University.
