Victoria Anderson

Ms. Victoria K. Anderson is a Technical Advisor for Risk and Engineering at the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI). Her work focuses on Fire PRA, risk-informed fire protection, risk-informed technical specifications, and many other risk-informed applications. She coordinates industry-wide activities supporting the NEI Risk Informed Steering Committee, which is composed of utility Chief Nuclear Officers and other leaders who facilitate industry direction and NRC interactions with respect to risk-informed regulation. She holds S.B. degrees in Nuclear Engineering and Political Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as well as an S.M. degree in Nuclear Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Ms. Anderson is on the executive committee of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers/American Nuclear Society Joint Committee on Nuclear Risk Management, which oversees development of international PRA standards.
