Tokuhiro Yamamoto

Mr. Tokuhiro Yamamoto is the Executive Director at Japan's NDF, Nuclear Damage Compensation and Decommissioning Facilitation Corporation. He leads the project management of decommissioning works of Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant. NDF's roles in the Fukushima Daiichi decommissioning include long-term technical planning and supervision of implementation carried out by the owner and operator, Tokyo Electric Power Company, of the cleaning up of the damaged nuclear power plant. Mr. Yamamoto holds more than 40-year research and development experience in Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA) in the field of nuclear fuel cycle and spent fuel reprocessing.
