Maureen Zawalick

Maureen is Pacific Gas and Electric Company Vice President Business and Technical Services at Diablo Canyon Power Plant, located in Avila Beach, California. In this role, she is responsible for regulatory strategies and compliance programs, license renewal, enterprise and operational risk management, pre-planning decommissioning and trust fund, procurement and nuclear fuel management, emergency preparedness, cyber security, land and environmental stewardship, business planning, and academic partnerships. In the last eight years, Maureen was also the Vice President Decommissioning & Technical Services, Senior Director of Regulatory, Risk Management and Decommissioning, Director of Nuclear Risk and Compliance and served as the Chief of Staff for the Senior Vice President, Generation, and Chief Nuclear Officer where she was involved with the overall strategic direction, planning, and oversight of PG&E's utility owned generation.   An energy portfolio that is over 7,600 megawatts of safe, reliable, affordable clean energy.

Maureen has over 33 years' experience in the utility and nuclear energy industry.   She joined PG&E in 1997 and has held various positions with increasing responsibility in the areas of Integrated Planning and Business Governance, Risk Management, Compliance, Regulatory, Cyber Security, Performance Improvement and Emergency Preparedness.

Maureen has a degree in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Wisconsin.
