Marion Poupinel-Descambres

Marion Poupinel-Descambres began her career in 2006 as a process engineer then lead process engineer at Orano, working on different projects on nuclear material and spent fuels recycling in France or for foreign countries. She later joined in 2013 the Recycling Business Unit of Orano as project manager of industrial or innovative projects. From 2017 to 2019, she took the responsibility of the Project Management Office of the Technical Department of the Recycling Business Unit and was in charge of the financial consolidation of R&D and investment plans of the BU. In 2019, Marion Poupinel-Descambres was appointed advisor to the Chief Executive Officer of Orano and secretary of the Executive Committee of the group. In this capacity she managed short and medium term assignments on the behalf of the CEO and was in charge of the preparation of external meetings. In July 2021, she was appointed Strategy Director of Orano's Recycling Business Unit. This includes developpment of new value creation models and business models for the BU.

Marion Poupinel-Descambres holds a master level degree of chemical science and engineering form the Ecole Nationale Sucuterieure de Chimie de Paris (Chimie ParisTech).
