Larae Bill

Larae Bill has worked for the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes for over 20 years. She is currently the Interim Tribal/Department of Energy Director. Before being appointed the Interim Director, Larae worked in the Tribes' Cultural Resources Program as the Cultural Resources Specialist. She has experience with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), Section 110 of the NHPA, Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA), Archaeological Resources Protection Act (ARPA), DOE Order 141.1 (Protection of Cultural Resources) and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and has assisted with hundreds of miles performing archaeological fieldwork on the Idaho National Laboratory (INL), the Fort Hall Indian Reservation, and on BLM, FS, and private lands within the State of Idaho. The Department of Energy-Idaho Site is the main focus of her work.
