Andrew Griffith

Andrew Griffith is the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Nuclear Fuel Cycle and Supply Chain for the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Nuclear Energy. In this role, he leads DOE’s research and development on advanced nuclear fuel cycle technologies that have the potential to improve resource utilization and energy generation, reduce waste generation, and limit proliferation risk. Andy has over 35 years of experience working in the nuclear technology area, including positions in the Navy’s nuclear submarine force, and DOE’s Office of Environmental Management and Office of Nuclear Energy.
