This report provides the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission with an overview of the Office of Investigations' (OI's) activities, mission, and purpose, along with the framework of case inventory with highlights of significant cases that OI completed during fiscal year 2017 (see Staff Requirements Memorandum COMJC-89-8, dated June 30, 1989).
