REMARKS:

IMC 0305 (Operating Reactor Assessment Program) has been revised to incorporate a variety of verbal and written comments which: 1) adds responsibilities for headquarters offices during end-of-cycle review, 2) added a requirement that the EDO is responsible for authorizing all deviations, 3) clarified requirements for issuance of assessment followup letters, 4) modified description of mid-cycle and end-of-cycle reviews, 5) added exhibit 8, "Sample Plant Performance Summary," 6) added a description of end-of-cycle summary meetings, 7) updated sample mid-cycle and end-of-cycle letters, and 8) changed the note on Action Matrix.

IMC 0609, Appendix E (Interim Physical Protection Significance Determination Process) has been revised to delete a paragraph describing enforcement guidance from the significance determination process description. The flow chart was revised to correct a typo by changing the word "green" to "white" in the first line of the chart.

IP 71111.05 (Fire Protection) has been revised to remove the requirement to perform a 10 CFR 50.59 review for changes/modifications to the fire protection program, including fire protection aspects of structures systems and components. Those changes/modifications are reviewed under the provisions of 10 CFR 50.48.
