The procedures listed above have been revised to add NRC's policy that unless an inspector needs to intervene to prevent an unsafe situation, inspections should be conducted such that the inspector's presence does not interfere with patient care or the patient's privacy. Other minor changes are limited to correction of previous typographical errors, insertion of minor omissions and the deletion of Year 2000 issues from the procedures.
TI 2800/029 (Nuclear Medicine Programs) has been revised to add NRC's policy that unless an inspector needs to intervene to prevent an unsafe situation, inspections should be conducted such that the inspector's presence does not interfere with patient care or the patient's privacy; to clarify reporting requirements; delete incorrect footers and to change the contact person.
