IMC 1245, Appendix A (Training Activities)

IMC 1245, Appendix B (NRR Inspector Training and Qualification Journal)

The manual chapter and its appendices have been revised to delete NMSS training requirements. IMC 1245 now lists just training qualification requirements for inspectors to perform the NRR inspection program. NMSS training requirements are now listed in manual chapter IMC 1246, "Formal Qualifications Programs in the Nuclear Material Safety and Safeguards Program Area."

IMC 2515, Appendix A (Core Inspection Program Procedures)

IMC 2515, Appendix B (Regional Initiative and Reactive Inspection Program Procedures)

These two appendices to IMC 2515 (Light-Water Reactor Inspection Program - Operations Phase) have been revised to reflect the new maintenance rule which went into effect July 10, 1996. IP 62707 has been moved from Appendix B to Appendix A, and IP 62703 was moved from Appendix A to Appendix B. No change in DIE resulted from this change.

9900 Technical Guidance (ASME Sections III & XI) is issued to provide guidance on ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Sections III and XI, as it relates to Code Interpretations, use of engineering judgement, and flaw evaluation.
