DESCRIPTION:



If the positive-moment strength of a reinforced concrete beam designed

with the ACI seismic provisions at a joint exceeds one-half the negative

moment strength due to flexural strength requirements, an abort will

occur during the seismic adjustment portion of the beam design.  This

condition is rare, with one reported occurance.  There is no work-around.
