U.S. Virgin Islands
NRC's Regional office in King of Prussia, Pa., (Region I) is responsible for carrying out the agency's duties in the U.S. Virgin Islands. No operating nuclear reactors or fuel cycle facilities are located in the U.S. Virgin Islands. The U.S. Virgin Islands are not an Agreement State. The U.S. Virgin Islands have jurisdiction over x-ray equipment, naturally occurring radioactive materials, and certain radioactive materials that are not produced in a reactor.
