Stephanie Bush-Goddard

Dr. Stephanie Bush-Goddard has been with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission for over 19 years. Currently, she is the Acting Chief of the Radiation Protection Branch and provides leadership, and project management to the Radiation Protection Computer Code Analysis and Maintenance Program (RAMP) in the Office of Nuclear Regulatory Research. She is a graduate of the Leadership Development Program at the NRC, and was an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland. Dr. Bush-Goddard was a recipient of graduate level fellowships and received numerous performance awards at the NRC. She has more than twenty plus years of professional and educational experience in the materials, waste, security, and reactor arenas. This includes both a breadth and depth in a wide range of radiation protection issues, regulatory framework, and performance assessments methods.  She has a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters and Ph. D. in Environmental Health Science with a minor in Health Physics.
