Sebastian Hueber is Head of Communications at the Federal Nuclear Safety Inspectorate ENSI. He has previously worked as a journalist and editor, including eight years at the Swiss News Agency SDA-ATS. From 2005 to 2011, Mr. Hueber was press spokesperson, head of information and deputy head of communication at the Federal Department of Defence, Civil Protection and Sport. Six months after the nuclear accident in Fukushima, he transferred to the Federal Nuclear Safety Inspectorate, where he was in charge of setting up a new communication section. He has headed this section since 2011. He is Chairman of the Working Group on Public Communications WGPC of the NEA since 2017 and was a member of the Programme Committee for the International Symposium on Communicating Nuclear and Radiological Emergencies to the Public of the IAEA in Vienna in October 2018.
