Gentlemen: 

SUBJECT:  INPO EVALUATION REPORT (Generic Letter No. 81-23A) 

In regard to Generic Letter 81-23 which requested that plant specific INPO 
evaluation reports be submitted through normal docketing channels, other 
arrangements have now been made by NRC to handle this matter through our 
Regional Offices. Therefore, there will be no need for licensees to submit 
such reports directly to the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation, as 
requested by NRC Generic Letter 81-23.
