This letter transmits Reference (a) which presents the NRC staff 
requirements regarding the nature of the information necessary to establish 
the qualification of safety related electrical equipment. It is sent to you 
in response to concerns from certain equipment vendors, and clarifies our 
position that summary type information alone is not adequate to establish 
qualification.
