Subject: Withdrawal of 10CFR Part 21 Notification, Westronics Model 1200BC Recorders

Dated November 16, 1999

This letter is a withdrawal of the notification of a defect associated with Westronics 1200BC Safety Related recorders built under the Westronics 10CFR 50 Appendix B Program.

Westronics Design Engineering developed a test which was provided to all customers of Series 1200B Commercial Grade recorders and 1200BC Nuclear Safety Related recorders, to determine if the defective DC Power Input Harness Assembly was installed.

Subsequent investigation has determined that none of the defective wiring harnesses identified in the 10CFR21 notification of November 16, 1999, were installed in Westronics Series 1200BC Nuclear Safety Related recorders. Therefore, the notification of a defect in accordance with 10CFR Part 21 is withdrawn.

Should you have any questions regarding the above, please contact the undersigned.

Sincerely,

Robert T. Agee
