10 CFR PART 21 REPORT REGARDING USE OF INCORRECT CABLE RESISTANCE

IN DESIGN CALCULATIONS

INCORRECT CABLE RESISTANCE VALUES WERE USED TO DETERMINE CABLE

TRAY LOADING AND VOLTAGE DROP OF CABLES RATED FOR LESS THAN 5 kV.

SARGENT & LUNDY STANDARD ESA-102 DID NOT CORRECTLY REFLECT

RESISTANCE VALUES FOR TIN-COATED COPPER CONDUCTOR CABLES USED AT

CLINTON. (TIN-COATED CABLES HAVE A HIGHER RESISTANCE THAN

UNCOATED COPPER CABLES.) THE LICENSEE HAS IDENTIFIED THAT

INCORRECT RESISTANCE VALUES WERE USED IN AT LEAST FIVE ELECTRICAL

VOLTAGE CALCULATIONS FOR THE AC AND DC ELECTRICAL DISTRIBUTION

SYSTEMS.
