Steven Scheurich

Steven Scheurich is VP, Nuclear Decommissioning for Entergy’s merchant nuclear fleet, which include Vermont Yankee, Palisades, Pilgrim and Indian Point. In this role, he is responsible for leading nuclear decommissioning planning and implementation to ensure the safe transition of Entergy’s merchant nuclear fleet from operations to full dormancy through license termination. For Vermont Yankee, Steven was responsible for managing the 130+ member Project Team cross-functional activities leading up to shut down, standing up the new business model in the decommissioning phase.  Steven is leading commercial efforts related Entergy's strategic initiative to advance decommissioning, such as the VY License Transfer Transaction. Steven is the executive sponsor of the NEI Decommissioning Transition Task Force.  Steven earned bachelor of science degree in business administration from Louisiana State University in 1986, a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Louisiana State University in 1988, and a master of business administration degree from Tulane University in 2003.
