Mr. Barry joined the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission in 2008, as a Security Specialist for the Office of Nuclear Security and Incident Response. He is responsible for developing the NRC’s safeguards and security baseline inspection modules which are designed to evaluate NRC licensee’s implementation of the NRC’s requirements as part of the agency’s reactor oversight program. Mr. Barry began his career in the nuclear security field in 1988, at a power reactor facility and has held progressively responsible positions including Manager of Nuclear Security.
