Adelaide Giantelli

Ms. Giantelli is responsible for developing security policy for transportation of radioactive materials at the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s Office of Nuclear Security and Incident Response. Her expertise encompasses both transportation safety and security for Code of Conduct radioactive materials, special nuclear materials, and spent nuclear fuel. Ms. Giantelli joined the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission in December, 1999, as a Project Engineer in the Office Nuclear Materials Safety and Safeguards. Prior to joining the NRC, Ms. Giantelli worked for engineering design and consulting firms. She holds both a Bachelors and Master of Mechanical Engineering from Manhattan College in New York City.
