Information Notice No. 82-38:   CHANGE IN FORMAT AND DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM 
                                   FOR IE BULLETINS, CIRCULARS, AND 
                                   INFORMATION NOTICES 

Addressees: 

All NRC licensees. 

Purpose: 

This information notice is to advise recipients of IE bulletins, circulars, 
and information notices of a change to the format and the distribution 
systems for those documents. 

Discussion: 

All IE bulletins, circulars, and information notices are now distributed by 
the Office of Inspection and Enforcement (IE) through the NRC Document 
Management Branch in Washington, DC rather than the Regional Office. This 
centralized distribution has resulted in the elimination of a separate 
transmittal memorandum to each recipient from the respective Regional 
Administrator. 

Any requests for additions, changes or deletions to the distribution list 
for these documents should be addressed to the attention of the Chief, 
Document Management Branch, Office of Administration, U.S. Nuclear 
Regulatory Commission, Washington, DC 20555. If you should have any 
questions or require additional information regarding this information 
notice, please contact the Regional Administrator of the appropriate NRC 
Regional Office.
