ACCESSION #: 9707150333 Interim Report (97-004) Subject: Interim report of evaluation of a deviation pursuant to 10 CFR 21.21(a)(2) Title: Critical Power Methodology for ATRIUM-10 Identification of Basic Activity: BWR ANFB Dryout Correlation for ATRIUM-10 Fuel Design Basic Activity Supplied By: Siemens Power Corporation - Nuclear Division Nature of Deviation: This is in response to the NRC identified nonconformance associated with development of the dryout correlation used for the ATRIUM-10 fuel design observed during NRC Inspection 99900081/97-01. Additional testing and correlation development is required. Discovery Date: May 13, 1997 Corrective Actions to Date: Nonconformance report (NCR-6113) was prepared and processed by management review team as required by SPC-ND's Quality Assurance Manual, EMF-1. To date, additional dryout testing is proceeding on schedule. The NRC was apprised of the status on July 8, 1997.
