THE LICENSEE DISCOVERED THAT WELDS ORIGINALLY SPECIFIED AND
PERFORMED BY
WESTINGHOUSE ON COMPONENT COOLING WATER NOZZLES FOR REACTOR
COOLANT PUMP
SEAL INJECTION LINES ARE DEFECTIVE.  ONE WELD HAD A CIRCUMFRENTIAL
CRACK
AND FIVE OTHERS ALSO SHOWED SIGNIFICANT CRACKING.  THE LICENSEE
SUSPECTS
THAT TIG WELDING IS REQUIRED BUT NOT DONE.
