MKW POWER SYSTEMS, INC., REPORTED THAT THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH A 
VOLTAGE REGULATOR USED ON THEIR SAFETY RELATED DIESEL GENERATORS.
                                                                 
DURING REPAIR AND TESTING OF A VOLTAGE REGULATOR, MANUFACTURED BY
NEI PEEBLES, FOR TURKEY POINT, VOLTAGE INSTABILITY WAS OBSERVED. 
THE CAUSE WAS DETERMINED TO BE DUE TO FOREIGN MATERIAL ON THE    
STATIONARY WIPER PORTION OF THE R4 VOLTAGE ADJUST POTENTIOMETER. 
THE POTENTIOMETER IS 250 OHM, 2W, MANUFACTURED BY CHICAGO        
TELEPHONE SUPPLY, P/N 115R251A AND HAS BEEN USED BY NEI FOR OVER 
20 YEARS FOR THIS APPLICATION. THE FOLLOWING U.S. CUSTOMERS
