THE 10 CFR PART 21 REPORT REFERS TO OIL FILTER CARTRIDGES USED IN
FUEL OIL FILTERS. THE CARTRIDGES WERE SUPPLIED BY AMER TO        
BECHTEL.  BECHTEL USED IN THE CARTRIDGES IN THE CALVERT CLIFFS   
DIESEL GENERATOR PROJECT.                                        
                                                                 
BECHTEL INFORMED AMER THAT IT WAS NOT CLEAR THAT THE             
SAFETY-RELATED QUALITY PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS WERE MET IN THE      
PROCUREMENT OF THE CARTRIDGES.  AMER PURCHASED THE CARTRIDGES    
FROM NORMAN ULTRA-POROUS FILTERS.
