EXPERIENCE A PROBLEM WITH THE GOVERNOR LINKAGE UNDER SEVERE
VIBRATION CONDITIONS OR A SEISMIC EVENT.  SPECIFICALLY, A LOCK
NUT WHICH SECURES THE GOVERNOR LINKAGE MAY NOT HAVE SUFFICIENT
THREAD ENGAGEMENT TO GUARANTEE ADEQUATE LOCKING. DRESSER-RAND IS
PREPARING A LIST OF AFFECTED PLANTS AND SPECIFIC RECOMMENDATIONS.
