Discussion:

TVA announced on April 10, 2007, the appointment of William R. (Bill) Campbell as TVA's new Chief Nuclear Officer (CNO) due to Karl Singer's (former CNO) retirement announced on March 30, 2007. Mr. Campbell previously worked with other utility companies, including Entergy Nuclear Generation Co., Duke Energy, Carolina Power & Light, and Union Electric Co. In the interim, Preston Swafford, Senior Vice President of Nuclear Support, will lead nuclear operations for TVA until Mr. Campbell's appointment becomes effective beginning on May 14, 2007.
