Subject: Morning reports announcing issuance of generic communications
         will be discontinued

This headquarters morning report is being issued to inform recipients    
that effective immediately morning reports will not be issued to announce
the issuance of generic communications, which include bulletins, generic 
letters, information notices and regulatory issue summaries. NRC generic 
communications may be received in electronic format shortly after they   
are issued by subscribing to the NRC listserver as follows:              
                                                                         
To subscribe send an email to [listproc@nrc.gov], no subject, and the    
following command in the message portion:                                
                                                                         
            subscribe gc-nrr firstname lastname                          
                                                                         
The e-mail account that you subscribe under will be the address that the 
generic communications are sent to. Furthermore, you cannot subscribe    
other individuals to this list unless you are subscribing directly from

Subject: Availability of index tables for Part 21 reports for the        
         Years 1977-1994                                                 


Discussion:

Reference information for Part 21 reports received by NRC from 1977, when
the Part 21 regulation became effective, to 1994, before construction of 
the Part 21 web site, is now available on the NRC public web site at     
http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/doc-collections/event-status/part21/part21r
p  ts-1994-1977.pdf.  Included are log numbers assigned to each incoming 
report by the NRC, names of notifiers and associated vendors, brief      
problem descriptions, report dates, and accession or NUDOCS numbers.     
Historical data associated with the index tables are not available       
directly from the index tables on the public web site but most of the    
reports themselves may be obtained from the NRC Public Document Room     
(PDR) or the NRC public web site using the document NUDOCS number or     
Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) accession      
number. Part 21 Reports, identified by an NUDOCS number, are on          
microfiche and members of the public may look at the microfiche at the   
PDR and arrange with the PDR copy contractor to have copies made. The    
copy service requires prepayment for this type of order. Part 21         
documents, identified by an ADAMS accession number (prefixed with the    
"ml" notation) may, in some cases, be located on the NRC public web site 
at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams/web-based.html.

Subject: Announcement of Management Changes                              

Discussion:

On Thursday, January 30, 2003, Honeywell International, Inc. announced   
the following management changes. The present Plant Manager, J. William  
Lessig has been appointed Task Force Leader at their Geismar site in     
Louisiana. Mr. Lessig is being replaced by Rory O'Kane who is currently  
the Operations Manager, Wax Blend Plants.
