Subject: Issuance of Regulatory Issue Summary 2002-23

Regulatory Issue Summary (RIS) 2002-23, "AVAILABILITY OF GUIDE FOR
DIAGNOSTIC NUCLEAR MEDICINE," was issued on November 27, 2002.

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued this summary to all
medical licensees to inform them of the availability, from the NRC, of a
Guide for Diagnostic Nuclear Medicine, prepared by the American College
of Nuclear Physicians and the Society of Nuclear Medicine, and published
under the auspices of the Society of Nuclear Medicine.
