Subject: NEW PLANT MANAGER NAMED AT QUAD CITIES GENERATING STATION

Discussion:

On February 6, 2002, Mr. Jack Skolds, Chief Operating Officer of Exelon
Nuclear announced that Mr. Clair "Bud" Swenson has been named as the new
plant manager at Quad Cities Generating Station. Mr. Swenson replaces Mr.
George Barnes who was recently promoted to the position of Site Vice
President at Exelon's LaSalle Generating Station.

Prior to joining the Quad Cities staff, Mr. Swenson held multiple
positions at Exelon's Peach Bottom Plant including: Outage Manager,
Instrument and Controls Manager, Maintenance Planning Manager, Operations
Shift Supervisor and Journeyman Electrician. Mr. Swenson earned a
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Widener University and
completed the Advanced Management Program at Duke University's Fuqua
School of Business.

Mr. Swenson plans to transition into his new role as plant manager over
the next month.
