Subject: Bankruptcy Notification to NRC

Discussion:

In accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 30.34(h)(1), Nuclear Pharmacy
of Idaho, Inc. (License No. 11-27398-01MD), notified the NRC on July 6,
2001, that the corporation had filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection
on July 5, 2001.  The NRC Region IV office has been in contact with the
licensee and has gained assurance that there is no current concern with
the security of licensed material.  The licensee is continuing to service
its customers under the existing license and plans to properly dispose of
licensed material before license termination.  The regional office has
made the initial internal contacts necessary within 24 hours of
notification in order to form a bankruptcy review team in accordance with
NUREG-1556, Volume 15.  The regional office plans to commence bankruptcy
team proceedings during the week of July 9, 2001.

Regional Action:

Establish Bankruptcy Team in accordance with the provision of NUREG 1556,
Volume 15.
