Subject: IN 2001-08, SUPPLEMENT 1

Information Notice 2001-08, Supplement 1: Update on the Investigation of
Patient Deaths in Panama, Following Radiation Therapy Overexposures, was
issued on June 6, 2001.

This notice was issued to all medical licensees to inform them of the
preliminary findings from the International Atomic Energy Agency
investigation of patient overdoses received during radiation therapy
treatments at the National Oncology Institute in Panama.
