Subject: MANAGEMENT CHANGE

Discussion:

On May 9, 2001, the Nuclear Management Company, LLC, announced a change
in the Plant Manager position at the Monticello Nuclear Power Plant. Mr.
Jeff Forbes will assume duties as Monticello Plant Manager after a period
of turnover from the current Plant Manager, Mr. Byron Day. Mr. Forbes
arrives on site May 14, 2001, and will report to Mr. Jim Morris,
Monticello Site Vice President. Mr. Forbes was most recently plant
manager at Oconee Nuclear Station, and has also held positions at Catawba
Nuclear Station; both stations are operated by Duke Energy Corporation.
Mr. Day will assume duties as Project Director for the Integration and
Coordination of the Fleet-wide Management System for the Nuclear
Management Company and will report to Mr. Charlie Schrock, Senior Vice
President of Operations, NMC.
