Subject: NMC MANAGEMENT CHANGES

Discussion:

On April 24, 2001, Mr. Michael Sellman, President, Nuclear Management
Company (NMC) announced that effective May 2, Mr. Roy A. Anderson, will
assume the position of NMC Executive Vice President and Chief Nuclear
Officer. Mr. Anderson will replace Mr. Michael Wadley. Mr. Wadley will
assume the position of Senior Vice President of Government Affairs and
Business Development. Mr. Anderson was with Florida Power Corporation,
serving as Senior Vice President of Energy Supply. He previously held
positions with Carolina Power and Light Company, Boston Edison Company,
and General Electric. Both Mr. Anderson and Mr. Wadley will report to Mr.
Michael Sellman. The recently formed NMC is composed of Alliant Energy,
Wisconsin Electric, Wisconsin Public Service and Northern States Power.
