NRC Information Notice 2001-04: Neglected Fire Extinguisher Maintenance
Causes Fatality, dated April 11, 2001

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission is issuing this information notice
to alert addressees to the danger of corrosion to fire extinguishers. It
is expected that recipients will review the information for applicability
and consider actions, as appropriate, to ensure safety at their
facilities.
