NRC Regulatory Issue Summary 2001-06: Criteria for Triggering a Review
Under 10 CFR 50.80 for Non-Owner Operator Service Companies, dated
February 15, 2001

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission is issuing this regulatory issue
summary (RIS) to inform licensees of the criteria for determining when
the use of contract service operating companies in connection with the
operation or maintenance of nuclear power reactors requires approval by
the NRC under the regulations governing transfers of licenses in 10 CFR
50.80.
