SUBJECT: CLOSEOUT OF GENERIC SAFETY ISSUE 168, "ENVIRONMENTAL QUALIFICATION OF LOW-VOLTAGE INSTRUMENTATION AND CONTROL CABLES"

During the 501st meeting of the Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards, April 10-12, 2003, the Committee considered the staff's proposed closeout of Generic Safety Issue 168, "Environmental Qualification of Low-voltage Instrumentation and Control Cables" and decided not to perform any further review of this subject. The Committee agrees with the staff's plans to issue the proposed generic communication.
