SUBJECT:   PROPOSED REVISION TO THE COMMISSION'S SAFETY GOAL POLICY STATEMENT FOR REACTORS

During the 478th meeting of the Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards, December 6-9, 2000, the Committee considered the proposed revision to the Commission's Safety Goal Policy Statement for Reactors. Individual members suggested a number of changes that the staff agreed to consider. The Committee has no objection to the proposed revision to the Safety Goal Policy Statement.
