Purpose
The purpose of the meeting between the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) is to discuss a proposed license amendment request for Sequoyah Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2, regarding a change to Technical Specification 5.5.3, "Radioactive Effluent Controls Program," to allow a revision to the Offsite Dose Calculation Manual for the addition of potassium hydroxide to the reactor coolant for pH control.
