Purpose
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff will hold two meetings to discuss the NRC's Restart Panel, licensing reviews, inspection activities, and environmental review for the Christopher M. Crane Clean Energy Center potential resumption of power operations. On July 31, 2025, the meeting will be in-person only at the address listed. On August 6, 2025, a virtual meeting will be held via the Microsoft Teams Webinar link in this notice. The public is encouraged to ask questions about the NRC’s oversight and licensing efforts pertaining to the potential Crane restart.

The meeting on July 31, 2025, will be in-person only at Penn State Harrisburg. Parking is available in the lot on College Avenue. Parking is free for this public event. Due to the expected participation for this in-person meeting, a ticket system will be used to randomly select members of the public in attendance to pose questions and/or comments to the NRC staff. A virtual meeting via Microsoft Teams Webinar will be held on August 6, 2025. Register in advance of the meeting by clicking on the link provided. The link will take you to a new page where you will be asked to provide registration information including an email address, so that the system can send the Microsoft Teams link for the meeting. We ask that you do this at least 30 minutes before the meeting starts.
