Purpose
The purpose of the meeting is to inform the public about the status of the development of Regulatory Guide (RG) 1.174, Revision 3, and for NRC staff to obtain public feedback on the current efforts. Stakeholders are encouraged to develop suggested examples that could be used to help explain each of the seven defense-in-depth evaluation factors as well as integrated examples that could be used to demonstrate the process of addressing the factors.
