Fostering Meaningful Engagement with Tribal Nations at the NRC

The purpose of this exhibit is to showcase how the NRC is fostering meaningful and proactive engagement with Tribal Nations in the agency's regulatory processes and decision-making and to demonstrate the value that NRC Headquarters and regional staff bring in charting the course forward in promoting effective relationships with the Tribal Nations in a dynamic regulatory environment. This digital exhibit showcases the unique experience and knowledge of Tribal governments and the importance of including Tribal Nations in regulatory decisions affecting their communities, cultures, and resources. This exhibit will share how the NRC's Tribal Liaison program supports the agency's commitment to Tribal Nations by facilitating timely outreach, consultation, and training while coordinating and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
