This exhibit will showcase U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) efforts to establish a framework to support the effective and efficient review of advanced reactor license applications in accordance with the Nuclear Energy Innovation and Modernization Act. The exhibit will highlight the staff's development of risk-informed and performance-based licensing strategies, endorsement of codes and standards, resolution of key policy issues, development of several proposed rulemakings, and development of key guidance to support advanced reactor developers.
